Terms & Conditions

By participating in any of our courses or activities, you confirm that you are physically fit for the activity you have chosen.
If, for any reason including fitness, minor injury, or personal choice (where we are not responsible), you are unable to continue and choose to cancel or withdraw, our standard cancellation policy applies.

Outdoor activities inherently involve risks beyond our control.
By taking part, you acknowledge these risks and accept personal responsibility for your actions and awareness of the surrounding environment.

Booking Confirmation

Payment is made securely via our bank’s server using your credit card.

After submitting the form, you will receive an email within 24–48 hours with confirmation details.
Your booking is confirmed once payment is received.

For daily events, if you choose to pay by credit card, the full amount must be paid online during checkout. Card payment is not possible on site, and the booking is not confirmed until the online payment is completed.

For sea kayak day trips, final confirmation is made two days before the trip when the weather forecast becomes accurate.
All clients must reconfirm two days before departure:

• WhatsApp or Viber available (same number), between 8:00–10:00 PM (GMT+2)

Please inform us where you will be staying the night before departure, especially if transportation is required.

Cancellation & Refunds

• Cancellations less than 7 days before the trip are non-refundable.
• Cancellations made 7+ days before the trip receive a refund.

If Enjoy-Crete cancels a guided tour due to unsafe conditions, we may:

• Delay the start (weather permitting)
• Offer a shorter or alternative trip
• Issue a full refund

Participant Minimums

For sea kayak trips, a minimum of 4 participants is required
(except the Sfakia trip).

If the minimum is not met:

• We will offer alternative trips
• Or provide a refund

For sea kayak expeditions and last-minute cancellations:

• We may help arrange accommodation
• Offer day trips at reduced rates
• Or proceed with the trip at a higher cost (to cover missing participants)
• If none possible → full refund

Once a trip or rental has begun:

No refunds for:

• Days lost due to weather
• Early returns

This applies to rock climbing equipment as well.

Kayak Rental Terms

To rent a sea kayak, you must be able to perform an Eskimo roll.
If not, please join a guided trip instead.

Once your rental begins, no refunds for:

• Weather interruptions
• Early returns

You are fully responsible for all equipment.

Damage or Loss

• Missing/damaged parts or hull require full reimbursement
• Shipping kayaks to Crete: typically €400 per kayak
• Lost kayak: full replacement + shipping
• Polyethylene kayaks cannot be reliably repaired in Crete’s heat → avoid dragging on rocks
• Composite gel coat damage: €50/hour repair minimum 1 hour

Major damage billed accordingly. Most composite kayaks can be repaired.
